CNSF May 2013 Exhibit & Reception

CASC was among the 33 Coalition for National Science Funding (CNSF) members who participated in the annual exhibition and reception held in the Rayburn House Office Building.in May, Exhibits ranged from University specific projects NSF helps to fund to Associations showcasing certain NSF funded projects. The CASC exhibit featured photos and text from many members involved with STEM activities, and CASC materials showcasing the breath and scope of our membership.

All are encouraged to seek out Members of Congress to attend and view NSF supported research accomplishments, with Members of the House most often stopping by. As well the NSF Division Directors are encouraged to attend along with the Director and Deputy. This year the CASC exhibit saw, Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson (D.TX) , House Science Committee Minority Ranking member; Dr. Cora Marrett, Acting Director of NSF and Dr. Farnam Jahanian, CISE AD, visit.

Dr. Curt Hillegas, CASC vice chair joined Sue Fratkin, CASC Washington Liaison at the exhibit table.
