CNSF Exhibition

CNSF April 2019 Exhibit & Reception

CASC was among the 33 Coalition for National Science Funding (CNSF) members who participated in the annual exhibition and reception held in the Rayburn House Office Building.  Exhibits ranged from University specific projects NSF helps to fund, to Associations showcasing NSF funded projects. The CASC exhibit featured photos and text from many members involved with STEM activities, and CASC materials showcasing the breath and scope of our membership.

All are encouraged to seek out Members of Congress to attend and view NSF supported research accomplishments, with Members of the House most often stopping by. As well the NSF Division Directors are encouraged to attend along with the Director and Deputy.

Dr. Scott Yockel, CASC Treasurer chair joined Lisa Arafune, CASC Director at the exhibit table.

Founded in 1989, the Coalition for Academic Scientific Computation (CASC) is an educational nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with 86 member institutions representing many of the nation’s most forward thinking universities and computing centers.
