CASC Response to Office of Science and Technology Policy NITRD NCO’s AI Action Plan

The CASC Positions Committee submitted a response to the OSTP NITRD NCO on developing an AI Action Plan. We emphasize the need for sustained investments in public-sector AI infrastructure, regional research, and domestic semiconductor manufacturing. Priorities include fully implementing NAIRR, expanding AI resources, securing the supply chain, and advancing AI-human interaction research to enhance workforce efficiency. These efforts will drive AI adoption, ensuring U.S. leadership in AI development and deployment.
